LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT (2006)
These older sets can be found inexpensively on eBay, but make sure you’re getting a complete set!
LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 (2013)
The EV3 set was discontinued in 2020, but is still a top-rate set for learning robotics.
LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor (2020)
Recently released, this set is similar to the EV3 but features better integration with iPhone, iPad and Android for students who would like to create programs for their robots using those devices instead of with a computer.
