Video Game Design and Robot Building and Programming – ages 5 to 8, 9 to 15

From Gamers to Game Creators: Channel your child’s enthusiasm for video games into something more productive with our cutting-edge class! We provide a comprehensive introduction to video game design where kids can transform from mere players into skilled creators.   Turn your child’s love of video games into an rewarding educational experience using Scratch coding. Students design their own video game and then build and program the robot that controls it.

The robot is available for purchase so that students can keep using it after the class.  No experience necessary.  It is also the perfect follow up for the October 28th camp.  Please let us know if you want Robot Academy to ship the robot in advance so you can give it to your child as a Christmas gift.  Your child can then bring the robot to class to build and program it.

Lunch provided: Choice of Pizza, Spaghetti, Hot Dog, Grilled Cheese, Hamburger, or Cheeseburger with french fries or applesauce.  Gluten free and Dairy free options available.  All options are nut free.

Snack provided: (AM) Bagels with choice of cream cheese or jelly or plain, (PM) yogurt or chips
