Fun video demonstrations (accessed on-demand via an online portal) empower kids to learn real building and programing techniques on their schedule.

Step-by-step tutorials provide just the right amount of structure, while choose-your-own-adventure challenges enable creativity and imagination.

Constant access to the Robot Guy (two-time FIRST LEGO League world champion) for troubleshooting help enables kids to succeed with their creations.

Personalized instruction blended with social time and self-paced building/programming time means your student will be happy and engaged throughout the day.

Open-ended challenges keep kids entertained for hours each day in pursuit of the ultimate robot.

Weekly ‘mystery challenges’ inspire students to develop their creative problem-solving skills.

Interactive Robot Club provides additional structure while enabling kids to ask questions and learn from other students’ ideas.

Kids learn to become self-motivated inventors, designers, developers, and engineers. There is truly no better way to prepare them for their professional lives.

Ages

Most of our students are ages 9-12, but we welcome students as young as 7 and as old as 15 depending on their maturity, interest, and aptitude. Younger children may need help/guidance from a parent or sibling.

Required Materials

1. Computer with reliable internet access

2. LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 set (the older NXT set is also acceptable). These can be purchased online or in-store from LEGO, Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Kohls, etc. (call ahead to make sure they’re in stock). Expect to pay $350 for a new set.

Consider this an investment in your child’s future! With LEGO robotics, kids can learn a hobby that will prepare them for real-world technological problem solving and potentially even a career in STEM.

3. (optional) A smartphone or tablet with a camera they can use to show their robot to peers and instructors during Robot Club meetings.

Tuition, and What's Included

1. Six months full enrollment in our Online Learning Program, which includes enough video demonstrations, step-by-step tutorials, and fun project briefings to inspire countless hours/weeks/months of independent work.

2. Six months access to Virtual Robot Club meetings! Students can meet weekly, twice weekly, or every day of the week with like-minded peers and talented instructors (1:6 student:instructor ratio) to get help with projects or just hang out! Max of 15 sessions. Flexible scheduling for all time zones. Meetings are held in password-protected video conference rooms. All meetings are recorded for quality assurance, and those recordings are available to students and parents upon request.

The enrollment fee of $399 is per household, so friends and siblings are welcome to join in the fun! (note: if you are a teacher hoping to use these materials with your class, we have a different product designed just for you!)

Enrollment is open today, and the course officially begins on Monday, April 20, 2020. The first Robot Club meetings will take place the following week (look for emails regarding scheduling for your time zone and age group).

Enrollment is limited (max of 45 members) so reserve your spot today!
